About
Traditional landscapes and charming pet portraits
Before I begin your painting we'll have a conversation that could include a brief description of the subject matter. Whether its about the character of your pet, or a favorite memory about a landscape.
Listening to your story enables me to infuse your artwork with feeling. Perhaps it a special moment of your vacation, a colorful sunset, a pet you love dearly, a home or vacation home you want to remember always. I can arrange to work from your digital photographs or depending on location I can arrange to take some photographs for you.
My goal is to capture the mood or feeling that makes you want to remember the moment in art.
My pet portraits, pencil drawings and landscape paintings evoke emotion within the viewer that will stand as a monument to that special moment in your life.

About Adrienne:
I discovered my passion for art as a child. , I took many trips out west and spent time photographing and painting the beautiful Montana back country. I took classes at the Beartooth School of Art with artists that influenced the direction of my work; Jim Masters, Carl Brenders, John Seery-Lester and the late Paco Young.
I also spent time in northern Italy painting the landscape from morning until night.
My versatility and experience allows me to paint in many mediums, such as pastel, oil, watercolor, acrylic, scratchboard and pencil.
Whether I'm painting in my studio in Virginia, or out in the fresh air, my faithful Australian Shepherd—Murphy—is guaranteed to be nearby watchfully supervising my latest project.
